Excerpt from NORAH
“I don’t know what it is about you, Norah,” he said, deepening his voice into a throaty rumble. “But I just can’t seem to get enough of you.”
Norah placed her own beer on the table next to his. She then brought her hands to the back of his neck and slid them up so she could run her fingers through the hair on the back of his head.
“So what are you gonna do about it?” Norah asked, her voice breathless and sexy.
That comment shocked the hell out of him. Of all the responses he’d imagined her saying, that wasn’t one of them.
Instantly turned on by her directness, Chase cupped her jaw in both of his hands and reeled her in for a kiss. He herded her against the wall, and only then did his lips leave hers. Her fingers curled into his hair harder as he trailed hot, wet open mouth kisses along her jaw and down her neck.
Norah moaned, and Chase thought he’d lose it. The sound of her pleasure vibrated in his ear and traveled straight down to his manhood. He felt her hands pulling at the hem of his shirt, attempting to free it from his jeans. He, too, moved his hands and snaked them up and underneath her shirt, feeling that warm, silky skin he’d been craving since he’d left her earlier.
Buttons were undone. His shirt hit the floor.
Chase grabbed Norah’s shirt by the hem, pulled it over her head, and tossed it to the floor with his.Damn.
Never before had she had a sexual encounter like this—raw and passionate. Chase’s hands were everywhere, lighting her on fire and making her crave more of his touch. The feel of his roughened hands and warm lips on her skin was almost enough to make her explode.
She needed more.
As fast as her trembling fingers would work, Norah quickly undid Chase’s shirt and pushed it from his shoulders. God, the man was incredibly built—lean yet muscular. Her shirt went next, and she froze as Chase stared at her. His eyes roamed over every inch and every curve of her body, and when they returned to hers, they were smoldering. She couldn’t believe how much that one look turned her on—just knowing that she did that, that she put that look in his eyes. And then Chase’s lips crushed against hers, and she let out a soft gasp as he lifted her to him. With his hands cradling her butt, Norah wrapped her legs around his waist and continued to kiss him as he walked them into the living room. She felt the sensation of falling, and the next thing she knew her back was pressed against the sofa cushions.
