Whatcha Doin'?

Editing my next novel, that’s what I’m doin’! Yes folks you heard me correct, I have completed another contemporary romance novel. I have just begun the editing process so it’s going to take some time. This is going to be the first novel of a trilogy I’m writing. I am in the process of writing book number 2 in my spare time, but my main focus right now is getting book number 1 completed and sent off to the copyright office. Stay tuned for more details:)

They Just Keep Coming!

When the Heart Falls just received another 5 star review! Oh…My…Gosh! Thank you so much Meg55927 for your review and I am thrilled beyond words that you enjoyed it! Can I just say that as a writer, there is no better feeling than getting feedback on your work. I mean, you spend months bringing these characters to life and work hard to tell their story in an interesting way that keeps readers wanting more. And for your readers to come back to you and tell you how much they enjoyed it, well, that is a very special gift and I will cherish it always:)

When did you find the time to write a book?

So, the main question I get asked when people find out I wrote a book is, "When did you find the time?" It's easy really. I have a lot of help, and I mean A LOT. My husband helps me out around the house and helps takes care of our son. He is so wonderful and I just couldn't ask for a better man. My mother is also a big help and comes over on the weekends sometimes to give me a few hours to myself when my husband has to work. I also try to squeeze in some writing time after everyone has gone to bed. Nothing like a nice quiet house to get ideas flowing:) It's nice to be surrounded by people who are so loving and supportive!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Ah the holidays are here! There's just something about this time of year that I absolutely love. Could it be that I get to spend the next month shopping, which just so happens to be one of my favorite past times? Maybe. Could it be that I get to spend the next month eating a bunch of ridiculously delicious food and not feel guilty about it what so ever? Maybe. Or, could it be that I get to spend time with the most special and important people in my life? Definitely. As I sit here writing this I can't help but think of the things I am most thankful for. And trust me there are A LOT. But, in an effort to keep things short and sweet I'll just state a few:) I am thankful for everyone who has supported me in this long journey to becoming an author. I am thankful for the love of all of my family and thank God every day for each and everyone of them. Love and family truly are a beautiful thing and I am thankful that I get to experience both of them everyday. Well, I'm off to …

A Special Thank You and My First Review!

First off, I would like to express my gratitude to the handful of people who have been so supportive after the release of my novel. I'd like to give a warm thanks to my husband Rob for getting in touch with Joe Albero at Salisbury News Blog and posting an advertisement for my book. Joe has been so helpful and has truly been a pleasure to work with. I just love how our community reaches out and helps one another! I'd like to also thank my cousin Kristi, my Aunt Jan, and my friends Rachel and Kristel for advertising it on Facebook. Thank you ladies for getting the word out and bringing attention to my novel! And a BIG thank you to everyone who has downloaded a copy so far! I truly hope you enjoy reading it! Speaking of that, I'd like to mention that my novel received it's first review yesterday.
